Package Responsible Engineer

Introduction

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Package Responsible Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. As a Package Responsible Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing technical procurement activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

As Package Responsible Engineer, your tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

• Coordinate and follow up on technical procurement activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Utilize the procurement control system to manage and track the progress of procurement work processes.
• Establish technical requisitions and specifications for the procurement packages, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Attend various activities, including kick-off meetings, multi-discipline workshops, and client/supplier meetings, to provide technical input and support.
• Perform thorough verification and approval of supplier documents and drawings, ensuring compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Review technical solutions proposed by suppliers and provide valuable feedback.
• Comment on Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical procurement activities within the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement control systems and processes.
• Strong ability to establish technical requisitions and specifications for procurement packages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
