Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Coordinator

For our client, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Coordinator.

Work tasks include but are not limited to:

• Review/implement comments from project (internal) or external (client) & approve documentation follow up in document management systems
• Prepare additional change requested for mechanical discipline and follow-up where required
• Input to work packages for mechanical discipline on the yard
• Follow up work packages on yard
• Mechanical discipline Input to project plan
• Prepare and issue technical requisitions and datasheets (additional requirement)
• Perform inspections and witness testing of equipment (additional requirement)
• Identify and report any extra work related to changes in the scope of work (additional requirement)

Requirements:

• 4-5 years mechanical engineering / coordinating work experience in Offshore projects or similar will be advantageous
• Experience using IFS will be advantageous
• Higher education or degree in engineering will be advantageous

Duration: 

• 1 year++

Language:

• English required 
• Norwegian advantageous
