Completion Engineer EIT

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Completion Engineer with experience in EIT. 

Location: Stord

Duration: ASAP – 1 year contract with possibilities for extension.

As a Completion Engineer, you will be responsible for following up on electrical power systems related to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, and serve as a Mechanical Completion System Engineer. Your responsibilities may include the following:

Responsibilities

Electrical Power Systems:

1. Monitor and ensure the efficient functioning of electrical power systems within the project.
2. Collaborate with electrical engineers to identify potential issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.
3. Conduct regular inspections, tests, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
4. Review electrical design documentation and provide technical support during the project execution phase.

High Voltage Transformers and EIT on HVAC Systems:

1. Contribute to the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of High Voltage (HV) transformers and Electro, Instrument, Telecom systems related to HVAC.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC engineers, to ensure seamless integration of EIT systems.
3. Assist in reviewing specifications, drawings, and technical documentation related to EIT systems for HVAC.
4. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Mechanical Completion System Engineer:

1. Serve as a key point of contact for mechanical completion activities within the Electrification Project.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement mechanical completion plans.
3. Conduct inspections and assessments to verify that mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned accurately and in compliance with project specifications.
4. Monitor and track progress, ensuring that all required documentation, certifications, and handover procedures are completed efficiently.

Ideally, you will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of electrical power systems, HV transformers, and EIT systems.
• Field experience
• Previous experience using Procosys, MIPS and Fusion
• Knowledge of mechanical completion processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Full professional proficiency in Norwegian.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all tasks performed.
